Vlogger threatens to sue over hashtag and it backfires hilariously

When you’re a vlogger, it’s important to protect your brand. You don’t want people copying or stealing your style. Some are so protective of it, though, that they’ll lose it if someone uses a simple hashtag…

1. It starts with this Instagram post in which Scott Rising lip-syncs ‘Don’t Cry For Me, Argentina.’

2. Then, suddenly, he receives a DM.

3. She even put her trademark in the bio of her (now private) Instagram account.

4. Scott wasn’t impressed, and put his troll hat on…

Time to dominate that hashtag…

6. Her interesting choice of words caught the eye of YouTuber Tyler Oakley.

7. At least she stayed on brand with this DM.

8. And in an unsurprising plot twist…

Congratulations, Scott, you’ve successfully #RedefinedExtra…

Thanks for the tip, Evert!
