Als man einfach ins Schwimmbad, die Therme oder Sauna gehen konnte? Die hat in einer deutschen Sauna n\u00e4mlich das erlebt, was man gemeinhin wohl als Albtraum bezeichnen w\u00fcrde. Gl\u00fccklicherweise teilt sie diesen aber auf Twitter, um uns vom schn\u00f6den Corona Alltag abzulenken. Danke!<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n1. Gestatten, Anbara. Vor zehn Jahren war sie mit ihrem damaligen Freund in einem Spa in Deutschland &#8211; logischerweise ohne Deutschkenntnisse.<\/p>\n<div class=\"dbsm-oembed\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">As a public service in these stressful times I&#39;d like to offer, as a palate cleanser, the most embarrassing moment of my life.<\/p>\n<p>10ish years ago, my ex bf and I visited a spa in Germany. Die beiden trennen sich vorl\u00e4ufig, da Anbara noch in die Sauna m\u00f6chte. Ziemlich bald nimmt sie aber die falsche T\u00fcr und landet nicht in der Sauna, sondern geht durch den Notausgang &#8211; v\u00f6llig unbekleidet, nur mit einem kleinen Saunahandtuch.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-conversation=\"none\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Bf and I agree to meet in the caf\u00e9. I get undressed, grab a lil towel and go off to the sauna. I bang on the fire escape door until I actually hurt myself. Nothing. Yell for help. Sie findet auch keinen Ausgang oder Hilfe auf einer anderen Etage. Die einzig offene T\u00fcr f\u00fchrt in einen Maschinenraum. Yell some more. Nothing.<\/p>\n<p>On the ground floor there&#8217;s an unlocked door. Jackpot! I spot a service lift. Schlie\u00dflich \u00f6ffnet sich der Aufzug und ein Spa-Mitarbeiter erscheint. A spa employee stands there. He is the most dressed man to ever be wearing clothes. He has brought NO TOWEL for me. He says something in German, I cry, he sighs, waves for me to follow him. Als ob die ganze Nummer nicht schon peinlich genug w\u00e4re: Der einzige Weg zur\u00fcck ins Geb\u00e4ude verl\u00e4uft \u00fcber die Stra\u00dfe und an der Rezeption am Eingang vorbei &#8211; wo die Leute in Schlangen anstehen.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-conversation=\"none\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Apparently the only way out of the fire escape is to fully LEAVE THE BUILDING. So I&#8217;m cowering on the edge of the pavement, hysterical, &amp; he points round the corner. A shame black out. I have reached my max. I go fully through embarrassment and out the other side. Time slows down. People say things, point. I cannot hear them. I am transcendent with shame. Der Rezeptionist muss die Leute anbr\u00fcllen, damit sie Anbara Platz machen. Minuten vergehen, der Mitarbeiter hilft immerhin beim Dolmetschen und die Situation zu erkl\u00e4ren. Von einer \u00e4ltere Dame bekommt sie immerhin einen kleinen aufblasbaren Hummer, um sich etwas zu bedecken.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-conversation=\"none\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Reception is BUSY. So busy he has to yell at ppl to make way so I can get through the crowd. The guy explains (I&#8217;m guessing) the situ to the receptionist. This takes actual minutes. An old lady gives me her pool float. It is shaped like a lobster. Nach einiger Zeit kl\u00e4rt sich die Situation. Endlich in ein Handtuch geh\u00fcllt, l\u00e4uft Anbara schluchzend ins Caf\u00e9 zum ausgemachten Treffpunkt und ihrem wartenden Freund. Ironischerweise schnauzte der sie erstmal an, weil er so lange auf sie warten musste.
